Had a great time playing bingo here and trying different types of kava. Cant wait to go back. I won bingo twice and had to sit out the final round to give others a chance. Got free kava as a result. Dont ever shut down.

Updated 6/9/26 Unfortunately I have to add that as changes have been made from Kava leadership, it has been increasingly obvious that an attitude shift has occurred and they clearly don’t value their customers that have contributed to its success. The blatant disregard shown toward our safety the other night at close during the most dangerous portion of storm, when it was unmistakeable that a call came in and the sweet Kavatender had to ask us to leave the building as it was 5 minutes after close. A group of us ended up sheltering under the outside awning as we couldn’t even make it to our vehicles safely, let alone leave the property. This is negligent and shows truly how little regard the leadership has for their customers. Our group collectively spends over $7,000 a month, we are loyal, promote the business, and tip generously to take care of the outstanding Kavatenders. The leadership of this business has taken the attitude that they’ll get new regulars instead of simply be kind to their ample regulars they already have. This sweet lovely hidden gem is right off of camp Bowie!!!! I would highly recommend you to come and check it out!!! In the morning, the coffee is 50% off, so literally my cup with tip and all was like $2 bucks!!!! And an amazing mocha coffee at that!!! It sports couches and beautiful comfortable seating for different needs, from studying to visiting or to just sitting at the bar!!!

On Friday, September 26, 2025, as I walked inside with my baby, we were greeted with welcoming warm smiles from Chelsea and Cecilia. Chelsea has been with Kava and provided great detail on the benefits of the different Kava they have. She is such a sweetheart, friendly, caring, attentive, and provided exceptional customer service. Chelsea also informed me about the different events they have every week, which are: Monday — Massage 7 p.m.-10 p.m. $20 for 20 minutes Tuesday — Bingo/Poker Wednesday — Open Mic Thursday — Trivia Friday — Karaoke Saturday — Live music Sunday — Movie night They also have a happy hour from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. daily. Chelsea noticed that my baby boy was beginning to get fussy, and she took out some blocks which definitely helped. They also have a few blankets, and they came in handy since my baby boy wanted to be on the floor. I can't stress enough how helpful it was. I appreciate you so much, Chelsea. Cecilia is fairly new to the Kava team, but she's doing amazing work, and also provided great customer service and was friendly. Thank you, Cecilia. Chelsea made a bomb apple crisp latte. Amazing space, staff, and products! Kava is my go to and The Kava Bar checks all the boxes. The atmosphere and service is unbeatable. Friendly staff and regulars. Chris, Chelsea, Lilly, Justin, and Jesse are all super nice and knowledgeable. Made me feel comfortable and at home. Amazing flavors and overall experience. Love this place!
